Ableton start up takes 3-4 minutes now on opening with a blank default song.
Im on high Sierra and im pretty sure it wasn't this slow before the upgrade.
2.7 GHz Intel quad Core i7 Macbook.
Running twin SSD 1Tb and 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
How long does it take open a blank song on your mac/ pc ?

Like ten seconds or so...... I'm on a PC with an Intel i7-7700 and 16Gb Ram and an M1 drive of 256Gb.

should say im running a couple hindered VST, inc Waves and all the other manufacturers.
However i cant ever remember it being so slow on the default song startup.

You got VST scan on startup selected by any chance?
