Versioning of Packs

Post by siehorst » Wed Feb 07, 2018 7:46 pm

Hi,
As an example, there are two packs in my BackUp folder:
Digicussion2_r29276_v1.0.alp
and
Digicussion1_r32873_v1.0.alp
does that mean that the second one is the newest one and I can delete the first without loosing something?

These are 2 different packs / volumes with different kits, see the 1 and 2 behind the name Digicussion ;)

Sorry, my mistake:
Digicussion1_r29280_v1.0.alp
vs
Digicussion1_r32873_v1.0.alp

I don't see a reason for keeping local backups of packs and just grab them from the site when needed.

That is not the question.
I always keep BackUps of everything for my own and local. That is part of my BackUp strategy I will not leave.

You can delete the older one, the newer one should have superceded it.
