Mac
OS X 10.11.6 or later
Intel® Core™2 Duo processor. Intel® Core™ i5 processor or faster recommended.
4 GB RAM (8 GB or more recommended)
Note: Live 10 is 64-bit only.
You will not get the best out of it, but I guess you can do some production..... Most Mac users here have a Macbook Pro!
Maybe you don't have a 64bit system, and then it ends all for Live 10....
An audiointerface can improve soundquality though.

thank you

I use Live on MacBook Air when recording at my rehearsal place, for small projects it does well, but don't expect to have many instances of the new Wavetable synth or any heavy synth plugin.

hello,
i have been thinking
i have MacBook Air
with 8gb ram
and 256 gb SSD
should it be wise enough to buy Ableton 9.5 and push 2
would that make an easy workaround ?

Would make no difference. Your laptop is the issue. It's just not serious enough for Audio. 1.6GHz is not very powerful.

Using Maschine and Live simultaneously while loading possibly multiple NI vsts will be cutting it very close.
It'll probably work with minimal numbers of tracks. Don't be surprised if you hit a wall quickly, or if you might not get the best performance ability.

I use a MacBook Air with 1.6ghz to produce with no external equipment and it runs smoothly without problem. I did notice some rise in temp of my device when used in conjunction with an audio interface and it crashed once completely. I would not recommend it if your going to use things like Push or any controller that requires and audio interface.

That's cell phone specs.
