I'm working on a mac, and using a SSD (operating system) + flashdrive to keep my SSD as empty as possible.
Just moved Installation Folder for Packs to the flashdrive (also planning to move user library to the flashdrive).
However, my sidebar icon 'Packs' just seems empty. See screenshot.

When I create a custom fold (like 'SAMPLES') in the screenshot, I can access the packs. However, after launching one, it keeps saying media files missing. Auto searching solves everything in 10 secs, but this is a huge flow-killer.
Is there anything I should reconsider?

Re: Alternative folder locations
I'm not sure you can just move packs. You may need to reinstall them in the new folder location.
As for the links in your earlier projects, I don't think you can fix thought without opening each one and restoring those links. I've found Live to be very picky about moving your source sound and clip files to other locations. Using the "Collect All and Save" option will help in the future.

Thanks Richie.
However, I think I've found a solution. https://help.ableton.com/hc/en-us/artic ... he-Browser
This didn't seem to work at first, but after a lot of indexing it actually does work.
