for serveral time I am searching for a overview step sequencer in Ableton to controll my hardware synthesizer, like I have it in my Pro 2 synths.
I have a problem to not get lost in my clips, the settings and their content.
My target would be to have a full overview of my steps for each instruments. If I click on a step I can change the note, any other parameter of the step.
I dont want to see in the matrix the keyboard with 88 keys or the pads like a drum machine like MPC.
Is there any max for live device or any settings to have an overview of all steps by track (instrument)?
The clips are to complex for me, because I just want to change a chord or a note during playing, clicking is too much. If I could use push 2 and use the keys to scroll left or right is fine.
But scrolling from up,down, left right is during live playing too much.
Seeing the full steps of my tracks and touch a button for deactivating, a knob to change notes and velocity would be perfect.
Ableton is making any audio in my setup.
I really think to buy a huge touch screen...... or use polyend ... cirklon sequentix.
Any suggestion would be fine.
