improvised sessions with saxophone player

Post by slatepipe » Wed Mar 07, 2018 3:42 pm

https://floatingarm.bandcamp.com/

had some jam sessions last summer with a feller i got to know who plays sax very well. we spent the last six months or so editing the recordings and making them into separate pieces, finally put them out into the public realm today. he plays tenor sax, i do all the other noises. cheers

slight thread resurrection

https://floatingarm.bandcamp.com/album/ ... reductions

made a new collection of improvised pieces, some pretty minimal compared to the last group of tracks. i normally use my single string midi bass for this collaboration but for one of the sessions i had issues with my softstep2 (there wasn't an issue actually, i just forgot how to use it properly) so elected to just use the bass without computer and just physical pedals

i kind of like the minimal aspect of it anyway

cheers
