Don't agree. I am a fan of democracy and the freedom of speech.Stromkraft wrote:No, it's not. And you repeat what have already been posted.redglass wrote:https://www.steinberg.net/en/newsandeve ... -4727.html

Freedom of speech mean I can let you know someone else already have posted in another thread what you repeat. It's not about you not getting someone saying you're wrong either.redglass wrote:Don't agree. I am a fan of democracy and the freedom of speech.Stromkraft wrote:No, it's not. VST 2 lives!
But you behave like the house keeper of the forum. VST 3 is an industry standard.

So when I exercise free speech that doesn't suit you?redglass wrote:Freedom of speech mean I can let you know someone else already have posted in another thread what you repeat. It's not about you not getting someone saying you're wrong either.

You need to look up proprietary. An open standard is not proprietary.
As VST 2 also is, this point is somewhat moot and I don't think the lack of VST 3 support is because of this. The reasons for this lack have been discussed elsewhere for years in these Ableton forums as well as in other place3s.

So why do the majority of DAWs support VST3 then?Stromkraft wrote:So when I exercise free speech that doesn't suit you?redglass wrote:Freedom of speech mean I can let you know someone else already have posted in another thread what you repeat.
