swapping samples without losing mapping in simpler/drum rack
swapping samples without losing mapping in simpler/drum rack
I'm probably missing something here but is there a way to change the sample of simpler/drum rack without loading a completely new instrument? Say if I map a few midi controls to pitch/decay, as soon as I hot-swap the sample all the mappings are gone...what's the way to do this?
Re: swapping samples without losing mapping in simpler/drum rack
The swap buttons of the drum rack pad and on the device's title will swap the instrument, but:
Hover your mouse over the Simpler's waveform.
Then you'll get a swap sample button bottom right of that waveform.

Awesome thanks! Is there a key shortcut to hot swap the samples instead of the instrument? (Q)

Apparently not.
[Q] hotswaps the active device, but there's no shortcut beyond that level.

This needs to be addressed and fixed.... badly. This is a BREEZE to do in Maschine, and has been for oh... 8 years or more?
