MIDI-clips: marking and EDITING notes from several tracks

Post by vido » Thu May 17, 2018 12:29 am

This feature is one of the ones I wanted for ableton, to be able to move several notes from different midi-clips at the same time. The way it is now I have to mark which clip I want to move notes from, and i only see the motes from the other clip. This is better than before, but still misses the huge advantage of being able to mark and edit notes from several clips at the same time.

Specific (and typical) use case would be:

You have a chord-section on different MIDI-tracks, and you want to transpose all notes at the same time.

You need to change some notes on several MIDI-tracks, so you mark notes from several tracks at once.

As far as I know I can only SEE notes from several tracks now? Maybe Im missing a functionality, because these features would be the whole point of editing several tracks at once.
