Node for Max in Max for Live in Ableton 10...When?

It is understandable to remain circumspect about future release plans and such, hence all the references to "soon" with regard to an updated Max 8.01 or later flavor of M4L. Nevertheless, I'm curious to know if Node for Max is on the release plan for M4L at all. I can make a good argument for keeping Node for Max out altogether, but I'm hopeful I'm wrong here. Is there anyone that knows and is authorized to share?

You can download Max 8 right now, and pick it for use for Live's M4l, in Live's preferences.

Ok, issue solved, but I'm somewhat befuddled. Per this Ableton article and my own eyes yesterday, "There is no longer a Max Application chooser panel in Live's preferences." I swear, I went in and looked and it wasn't there. But today, there it is on the File Folder tab. The most likely explanation is that I just looked right over it, but what an oversight on my part. Thanks.

You're not hallucinating, the option to use an external Max version has been re-introduced lately.
