Is Live Lite Upgrade Possible With Product That Comes With 9

Hi, Can anyone from Ableton please advise me on the following:

I'm thinking of buying a new Midi Keyboard Controller, which comes with Ableton Live Lite 9

that can be downloaded via a serial number from the Ableton website.

Thing is, would I be able to upgrade to Ableton Live Lite 10, using the same serial number that comes with the
product I'm purchasing?

Or would I need to wait until the Controller I'm getting ships out with Ableton Live Lite 10?

The forum is very very rarely answered by Ableton officials.

If the product you're looking at is shipped with a license code card, retailers may have stocks equiped with Live Lite 9 licenses for some time.

When I bought a controller keyboard about nine years ago, it shipped with a v4 license. I registered that at Ableton and got a free upgrade to v7 instantly. I still have that Live Lite license in my user account, since I chose a different upgrade path throug Live LE (now Intro). I just looked at that license: It's now got codes for Lite 4, 7, 8 and 10, though curiously not 9.
