Mute a Wave Snippet

Post by alfiebuttons » Tue Nov 27, 2018 10:45 am

Hi there.

Is there a really quick way to mute / turn off a wave section on the Arrangement timeline?

In Cubase it was a simply right click on that section of audio and mute. This just greyed out that section of audio, while keeping the rest of that track live.

Usefull and mega quick when auditioning for take choices.

Thanks in advance,

Alex.

You can deactivate/activate clips. Right click a clip or a selection of clips -> deactivate/activate.

Just know that:

- In Live 9 - the entire clip(s) get(s) deactivated. So the clips that are present in your selection, but extend beyond your selection will be deactivated along their full length.

- In Live 10 - only the selected region is deactivated, with the clips extending beyond your selection being split at the selection region boundaries.
