When you turn a midi knob in the middle of a clip, that marks the first moment this midi channel will send a message, which may result in some abrupt sound changes.
Is there a way to have the first recorded value in a midi channel added to the very beginning of the clip?
Hope it makes sense.

You can start the movement then. Or just copy and paste the automation

Just change the value at the beginning of the clip instead of the middle or add a break point manually and position to where you need it to start
