previous or next scene in sync with global settings

when in note mode, up and down arrow move to the adjacent scene, but instantly.

Is there a way to make them do that in sync with the global settings? I would have thought shift might be the candidate.

The alternative is to have it not change scenes. And then use a different device to launch those scenes.
