MIDI clip easier way to increase volume in Session view?

Post by Sebastian » Fri Dec 07, 2018 6:16 pm

Hi!

Is there a quicker way to increase the volume of a MIDI clip in session view? (quicker than the typical: dragging up or down the MIDI envelope line in the clip). For audio clips, I know I can use the RAM clip or if really needed add Utility effect to that track.

Thanks

With a MIDI track you can increase VELOCITY of the notes in the piano roll (select all then drag the velocity pins) but as I read your post you simply want to increase the volume of the sound, not velocity which are married but separate attributes. Easiest way would be to either increase the plugin volume if it has one or just add a utility device to the effects section and increase that way.
