"Dynamic Shaping" tool

Abzolut n00b here. Taking a dubstep track construction course. Guy is using something called Dynamic Shaping, which I can't find anywhere. I'm using Live 9 so that's prob it. But what can I reach for if I don't have this thing to scuplt my snare with the way he's doing?

That's just the standard Live compressor renamed to "Dynamic Shaper". Just load up the standard compressor.

He should probably be explaining what he is using and why if it is a course of some kind. Is this a youtube tutorial or a paid course?
