fixed percentage note end lengths

For instance it would be nice to have an option to set as a default the note end length without using the gate effect, which gates every note equally regardless of length. for example some notes maybe a 16th and some maybe a bar long. and its not always desirable to have one note touching the next. I use push so every time I enter a note on a 16th grid, it is exactly 100% of a 16th. The next step would be for me to select all notes (Cntrl A) then then shift + alt + < the note lengths to a gate size that works for me. An option 50%, 75%, 90% default values for note end lengths in reference to 16th notes would speed things up. then I could draw in notes of any length without them snapping to each other
