Create many different presets for an instrument or an effect

Is it possible to save different "states" of an instrument or an effect
as different presets ready to be loaded with a click?

I'd like to save the EQ Eight settings I've made for an acoustic guitar
as "EQ Ac Guitar" and those I made for the voice as "EQ Voice Male".

Then, each time I will need to record the acoustic guitar I will be able
to "load" the "EQ Ac Guitrar" preset and automatically have te EQ Eight
settings I know I need.

In the context menu I can only see "Save as the default preset"
and not "Save preset as".

But maybe there is another way...
