Phase cancellation
In a track I am working on, I have some white noise that I duplicated to two tracks, panning one hard left and one hard right in order to get a very wide/spread sound. Will this cause these to phase cancel each other out when playing on a club or mono system?

how it sounds is going to depend a lot on how you are using the noise, and whether the mono-ing is done before the speakers.
noise is a random signal, so the only way it will fully cancel out is if the noise is identical and perfectly in-phase, with one side is polarity flipped, and mono-ed before the speakers. you can easily test this in Live using the Utility device. also, if the signal is mono-ed before the speakers, then identical noise signals slightly out-of-phase will create a phasing effect that might not be what you intended.
if the noise is identical and perfectly in-phase, with one side is polarity flipped, and played through stereo speakers, it will never fully cancel out, however there may be odd changes in the sound as your distance between the speakers changes. again you can easily get a bit of an idea of how this sounds in your studio.
