Simpler 'Slice' Question Automate start point?

Is this possible?

I am in Simpler SLICE mode, using a full track, but wondered if i could automate the start point so i can record the start pint and move it within sections of a song?

I am sure there was a workaround for automating the start point? but I need to be in SLICE mode in SIMPLER if that helps?

You may be better doing manual slice mode or use drum racks and slice to midi.
