Hi, I'm splitting a keyboard (Launchkey) so that I can play more than one instrument on it. I've created an instrument rack on a midi clip, and dragged two instruments into it, piano and strings. Then I've set the zones using the sliders. My problem is, I need the piano to be an octave higher, so that when I play for eg, G5 it plays G6.
I'm not using a Sampler right now..just the instruments in the rack. I don't need pitch shifting, I just want the samples to be transposed along. I could do it by creating multisamples myself with a Sampler or Simpler, but I want to try and save myself the time and use the existing instruments.
Is there an easy way to do this?
Thanks.

Transposing multisamples
Re: Transposing multisamples
That's easy and straightforward: drop in the 23.4 Pitch midi effect at the front of the piano chain.
Re: Transposing multisamples
Hi, thanks. it works! I noticed it works if you put it before or after the instrument.

Re: Transposing multisamples
I put it in the main chain after the piano..if that makes sense?..so is that's why? I just ended up dropping it on the instrument in the list of instruments in device view and it worked.
