Arrangement - Copy Time Sig/Measures Data

Post by MIAR » Thu Apr 11, 2019 8:21 pm

Hi Guys,

Not found much on this. I have some complex Time sig and measure changes in Arrangement view in various areas but want to copy them to further in the timeline. I can't figure how this is done. I copied all but leaves out the time sig.

I can get it to work by "Duplicating time but thats not where I want to paste the section.

Anyone know how this is done?

Possible time sig automation is on the master track, so you need to copy+paste it there.

"Time" has more functions than just "duplicate". You can copy and paste Time, which is what you would want in this case.

Assuming you just want to move the time signatures, Insert Silence should do the trick.

Something cool I just discovered (not sure if it works prior to 10) is you can select measures in the master track and then use arrow keys to move corresponding time signatures and locators... freaking slick IMO!

Just make sure you lock envelopes turned off.

Hope this helps,
jda
