Dealing Live 10 midi slots
I have 8 devices. 6 of them need 2 slots in Live. Is there any trick or workaround to get this workin ?
This was reported to Ableton in Live9 and still not improvement. Changing the settings every time I want to use a device is a nightmare.
I have sent a message about this problem to Ableton twice and so far everything is ignorred.

There are only 6 available, there is no workaround.... You're better off talking to the manufacturers of your controllers, why do they need two slots each?

What devices are you using?
Have they been as elegantly formed as the ones you have thrown at the mods lately? Could explain the lack of wanting to interactI have sent a message about this problem to Ableton twice and so far everything is ignorred.

What's the purpose of using two slots for one device?

It is not features. IT IS A PROBLEM !
You keep this request in your feature list for about 3 years and did nothing about this !
so at least let people discss what other choices we have.

Re: Dealing Live 10 midi slots
I use for example NI KONTROL-S61 keyboard. It rquires 2 slots. Do you think NI would listen to me and change it ? OK, be my guest and ask them. You would not even get a resonse. The sad story is that once those companies grow big they simply suck. I started with Live 3 and it was great company and great software, but. NOT ANYMORE. This is almost the same for NI.
I also use LAUNCHKEY-61 by novation, trigger Finger, AKAI keyboard, midi interface and Touche (which I ordered). Last time I saw request for more slots was over 3 YEARS AGO. They do not give a sh... what what users want, their have onw agenda.
