MP3 files in Live

Any ideas what mith cause this problem ?
I cannot drag and drop MP# file into Live10 track. The file is OK and I can play it externaly.
Tried to run Liva as admin, but still not luck.

No offense here, but is your copy of Live legit?
Sorry to ask, but as you're having so much issues reported these days I suppose it's fair to ask this at some point.
If this is not the problem, then it really start to sound like there's something wrong somewhere on your system.
One thing you can try, instead of drag-'n-drop your mp3, is to go to the Create menu and use the "import file" option and see if it's working that way.

Also, you could probably try a reset of Live (search on ableton.com Help page) at some point.

Mp3/WAV drag and drop worked for me fine just a month ago and now it does not. This already happended several times.
I think I did that reset in the past but I cannot recall what files need to be removed. Cold somebody refresh my mind... pls

Can't help thinking that myself…these problems are odd.
This one's a strange one – once again.

Have you contacted support on this or just tried downloading a fresh version from your user account?

Might be worth checking there's enough free space in Live's decoding cache (under preferences/file folder.

I've had Live do unexpected things if that gets full then I try and import an mp3.

Might help to post what OS you are on and what specific version of Live you are working with.

Hard to troubleshoot when all the info available is "I have a problem, what is the fix???!?!?"
