Hey,
I'm in the process of making a sample CD and I'm looking for some tips to speed up my workflow.
Currently, I record and save all samples separately.
However, I would like to record a lot of samples in one go, for example 16 samples that are all 1 bar long, record them in a single WAV file from my hardware, and then slicing them into 16 pieces afterwards.
What would be the easiest way to do this? I'm using Live 10, but if another tool might be better for the job I'm open to buying it.
I recently found out about the "Slice to new midi track" option, but I'm not sure what those Slicing Presets will do to my audio. I want my recorded audio to be the exact same as it came from my hardware.
Slicing samples and saving seperately as WAV

It will sound different in Sampler (due to Sampler's envelopes) but the actual files are not affected.
