Hi,
Is it possible to put a midi track into a drum bus? I have 2 midi and 2 audio tracks (midi have kick and sub kick using a plugin called kick 2) and the audio have another set of kicks. I created another audio track and renamed it Drum Bus , when i go to the output of the audio tracks it shows up Drum Bus but the midi doesnt. How do i put the audio coming from the midi track plugin into the drum bus so i can add parallel compression etc?
Matt

Re: Midi on drum bus?
Absolutely, Matt! I do it all the time.
Very odd. An empty midi track (i.e. no instrument on it) won't allow you to route to an audio track, which makes sense. A midi track with an instrument on it will.
I got Kick 2 on a track here, and I can route the audio to an audio track. Let me see if I can upload a pic.
Oh jeeez, that is obnoxiously large - mods, forum folks - I apologize.
Channel 1 is midi, with the Kick 2 plugin loaded. Channel 2 is an audio channel with a sample. Channel 3 is another audio channel which I'm routing the audio from channels 1 and 2 to.
Do the routing settings match yours?
