Sorry, first time using a DAW on Windows.
I'm trying to connect a M-Audio Prokeys Sono 61 to a Windows 8 32-bit machine. All I could find was a driver for Win 7 64.
Is there such a thing as a generic MIDI driver for Windows? Or anyone have the driver I'm looking for?
Thank you.
Generic MIDI driver for Windows?

Have you looked here: https://m-audio.com/support/download/dr ... .10.0.5131
There is a 32 bit Win7-SP1 driver in it - you could try using that one!

Re: Generic MIDI driver for Windows?
Hey miyaru!
No I'm just trying to setup something for my baby niece to jam on.
Thanks for the link, alas that is the one i tried, no success, I feel like such a noob on Windows and the prokeys is really old too. I tried it on a another Windows machine but I think it couldn't handle trying to process the audio and kept crashing.
Thanks for the help though!

Re: Generic MIDI driver for Windows?
Yeah, sometimes stuff is to old, and Windows is prone to not working in these circumstances.........but:
the driver states to be for Win7-SP1/32bit too, so most of the time Win8.1 "accepts" it, that's why I found it strange it didn't work.
These days really cheap controllers can be found everywhere, so that might be an option.........
