Pitch shifting a Reverb

Post by Snoekie66 » Mon Jul 22, 2019 2:06 pm

Does anyone know of a plugin or a How-To to pitch shift a reverb decay? Basically I want to play single notes on a piano with massive reverb and have only the effect pitch glide down. The input sound must stay uneffected!

Thanking you in advance oh mighty Ableton community!

Add a reverb plugin to the audio track. Right click on it's title bar and select "group" to form a rack with a chain in it. I suggest re-naming the chain "reverb". Open up the chain and insert a pitch shifter in front of the reverb. Set the reverb plugin 100% wet. That chain is your wet reverb signal.

Now create another chain in the same rack, only with no effects on it. That's your dry signal.

Balance the two chains to taste.
