Clips default to opening in automation view?

Clips default to opening in automation view?
Do clips default to opening in automation view? I feel like every time I open clip view from my Push II, APC, etc, the clip defaults to automation view, which I almost never want (usually trying to edit notes/velocity etc). Is this behavior changeable?
