Last Measure of a song or clip

Post by Outwest 2008 » Thu Sep 05, 2019 7:57 pm

Pardon my ignorance on this matter. How do I get a clip or song to stop on its own on the last measure? For example, one song has 85 measures. How do I get it to stop at measure 86? I sure could use help on this. Thank you for your time.

In session view, you can do this with follow actions. whether its a midi clip or an audio clip, you can double click the clip click the small "L" almost in the bottom left corner to open the clip launch options. select "stop" in the follow actions drop down menu. this describes it in better detail, but they only briefly mention "stop" and focus on the more in depth features: https://youtu.be/_tbb-TouAZs .

I don't know how to do that in arrangement view. it always seems to loop for me.
