Possible to get Push to do midi CC in user mode?

Post by North63 » Sun Sep 15, 2019 8:16 pm

Hello,

Push beginner here. As far as I understand Push in user mode outputs midi notes. Is it possible to get it to output midi CC instead to eg. control outboard midi devices?

Thanks in advance.

The encoders do send midi Control Change messages.

Apologies for not being more precise, I was thinking about the 8x8 grid. I am aware that the encoders to midi cc. I have about 20+ effects that I want to enable/disable, so the number of encoders are not many enough, unfortunately.

Don't believe so but with something like Bomes you could. Possibly Max may have something for this, not sure.

Launchpad X. Pretty nice addition, with the custom MIDI maps. They can send notes, CC messages, etc. On any MIDI channel. I love mine. Have LP Pro, LPX, Push 2... hardly touch the Push 2 these days, honestly.... especially with the pad velocity / scale modes of the LP Pro and LPX...
