Default device for slice to Drum Rack

I have been searching around for a solution to this and have played a bit with default devices, but as yet haven't solved my problem.

When converting from a sliced sample in Simpler or using the 'slice to Drum Rack' functionality, I want the resulting Drum Rack to be instantiated with Sampler devices, not Simplers.
If I have a particularly long sample and generate a drum rack from that, going through and 'Simpler -> Sampler' on each of up to 64 devices is super tedious.

Anyone hit this and solved it? Or I an idiot?
