So max window says

The master track has no ‘mute’ property
Master or send tracks have no ‘arm’ state
The master track has no ‘solo’ property

Ok, this is not a problem.
Are you triggering BiP with a midi controller or you computer keyboard?
You should definitely try bypassing your Console 1 and see what happens.

Let me know after you've tried without Console 1.

hi man, I forgot to reply and the beta reminded me, I tried it and it still crashed, I simply don't have a clue what next, one track no effects, put the beta on the track and the master and instant crash, really not sure what to do?

FIXED, it had to do with another m4l device that had been creating some weird signals that I had saved as a default audio and or midi track, since having reset this, BIP works again

It's been a long time since I didn't update this topic with the device's release notes, so here we go:

v1.7:
- Push trigger mode setting wasn't recalled correctly
- Better Undo handling (the recording process could be re-triggered when undoing)

v1.6:
- unarm any armed track before BiP'ing. Way more handy!

v1.5:
- You can now choose the Destination Track to be:
° a user-definable track ("Custom track" + drop-down menu). This allows to always bounce on the same track, which also makes the process faster.
° the old way where a new track is created for each bounce ("New track")
- The Destination Track name is now prepend with "[bip]" if it's a single track bounce; with"[rsmpl]" if it's a multitrack bounce.
- New "master" (big BIP center button) button to RESAMPLE the master track output; i.e perfect to bounce multiple solo'ed tracks.
- you can now choose which recording mode is triggered from the Push shortcut.

BiP v1.8 is out, paving the road for v2.

- make sure the Destination Track (when set to "Custom") gets unsolo'ed if needed before bouncing starts
- make sure that the correct track(s) get unsolo'ed depending on the context
- automatically links to the connected Push version and adds P3 support.
- Push Trigger wasn't working correctly
- lots of little fixes that just make everything more clean
- (BiP for L9 won’t be updated anymore and the last version is v1.7.1)

If you own BiP, you should have receive an email with this new version. If you didn't, check your spams.

Two quick questions:
1) Will you be adding selection bounce for BiP?
2) Does BiP and ClipGain work on Live 12?

Thanks! :)

1) Not sure what you mean? Do you mean stopping the recording automatically? If yes then yes it's in the pipeline. I never wanted to add this because of delay and reverb tails, but I'll just add an option to bounce a bit longer than the current selection.

2) Yep they do.

1) Yes, exactly. It's up to user to decide how long the bounce should be.
2) Awesome! :)
