Infinite collections.

Just 7 is really hard to use, you can only pick them for one type of thing: samples, plugins, presets...

And if you would use them for samples, for example, you easily are within your limits too: low sounds, mid sounds, high sounds, melodic, rhythmic, noise, tonal, harmonic, fat, thin, freesound.org, sample libraries, own recordings, 1 star, 2 stars, 3 stars, 4 stars, 5 stars, etc, etc

I really hope this will come because it has so much potential....But now I don't use it because it's just too limited.

I'm sure loads of people have asked for this because it seems like an absolute no brainer but why is there no sidechain feature on EQ8 ?

I would love love love an "in project search feature" - a search that will find and highlight specific songs, stems or samples within the current project. (i know searching in the "current project folder is a thing" but the search typically doesnt work in the way id prefer)

I would also love the option to expand my recent projects to maybe 50 projects in the recents

Anyone else think the violin via ableton factory strings sounds pretty weak? I mean especially compared to kontakt it is exceptionally worthless tbh.

No offense to the team at ableton, because I'm sure they achieved their results via different processing/architecture, but I feel it as sorely lacking.

Would love to see an update to the ableton factory packs.

I bought this suite in large due to the plethora of symphonic sounds, but the violin especially is unusable in most cases I've found.

Would love to see symphonic strings updated.

Allow VST3 plugins to output MIDI pitch bend and control changes.

This was added to the VST3 spec over a year ago (version 3.6.13).

My Ableton feature wish list:

- Better piano roll (see FL)
- Audio clip ruler that corresponds with the playlist ruler (so u dont press play and it moves somewhere else)
- Always on top option for vst window’s (so u can adjust settings while viewing a website or tutorial video)
- Comping for vocals (move recorded vocals on seperated audio channels)
- Warp all (audio) function (ignores midi clips)
- Group freeze/flatten option
- Hot swap sample in playlist when dragging on a sample, without using drum racks
- General low latency mode (disables every plugins hq feature?)
- Extended search options (search for bpm, key, ?)
- Remember interface choice when loading ableton
- More fav colors?
- CPU Monitor view (see what vst or fx plugin has biggest cpu load or delay so u know what to flatten/freeze)
- Adding sound when rendering done (or show a progress line in live icon osx)
- Scroll wheel functions (scrolling in fx view horizontal)

Hello wonderful people of Ableton.

My feature request is the ability of two separate ZOOM percentage levels for two different windows. I would like to have lower zoom level on "second window'' compared to the main window.
