How much does warp affect the audio I record? I've read that it does not change anything on the audio file itself, so I could be safe and I would be able to give the same audio material to a friend of mine working with another DAW and he'd be working exactly on the same material?!
Warp is non-destructive and calculated real-time, it doesn't affect the recorded audio file (which is why you can enable/disable it at will).
Most stuff in Live is non-destructive and will not affect the original audio (it is either real-time or a new copy of the file is created).
