According to p.115 of the M32 manual, it can control native devices in Live, much in the way an APC40 does. Are the comments above saying this does not actually work properly yet?
Manual doesnt actually state that, its says for plugin control (Ableton devices are not plugins). Manual merely states that Certain Ableton functions can be controlled, certainly doesnt mention Abletons own devices.
You maybe able to map them via Abletons Blue hand, but Im not certain of that.
Live 11, M1 Mac Mini, Push 2, Scarlett 18i20 & ADA8200, Softube Console 1 Mk2, Deepmind12, Hydrasynth, Cobalt 8M, Moog Subsequent 25, IK Uno Synth Pro, Plethora X3, Nord Drum 3P

Oh, so the manual is talking about plugins inside the Komplete Kontrol instance, then. Got it. Knew it sounded too good to be true

Ableton 10.1 just came out. According to the release notes, the m32 is now officially supported. Hope this means the integration is much better (compatibility with blue hand mode, etc) now. Let us know :)

Nope, it just means the scripts are now part of Live and you no longer need to load the KK plugin within a instrument rack, it works with integration without it which is, good (tho never had any issues with the old way).

Control of Live itself is still just track control and transport with any "blue hand" functionality requiring a second user script. WOuld be great to see a more advanced all in one high level script for live but not something i'm hanging my hat on.

Thanks Jester

So when loading KK do you recommend that I use the VST now instead ?

I didn’t mind the instrument rack and loading scripts manually, but it took about 10 seconds to load on my iMac Pro. Hoping this will improve.

Love your NKS packs btw, have them all :)

DISREGARD >> VST takes just as long without the rack.

Here's a how to to automatically blue hand control Live's devices with the 8 encoders on the M32 (and also A-series):

So this problem is basically solved :)

Works fine for me out of the box, no special scripts or anything to set up, just need to turn on Remote in the settings:
