Yes most definitely a scam. I recognise him from another forum where he was selling Live 10 Suite for $200 and on top ....negotiable!!!! Who can do that? He even has ads on Reverb.com selling 9 suite and 10 suite. Also on KVR.
He is asking you to send the money via paypal friends and family and will give you many reasons for that and also offers invoice. Hilarious! He will refund the money if you send him via paypal 'Goods'. He will come up with an instalment deal as well and will try to make make first instalment as higher as you can afford to pay. He will ignore your request if you ask for his feedback. He replies to his own ads with different accounts portraying himself as a buyer to make his ads looks legit.
Talking from personal experience. There is lot more to it and I just cut it short.

I got scammed by this guy on Reverb. He was selling Ableton Live 9 Suite for $200 and then dropped the price down to $100. Once I paid for it. He cancels the order and contacts me through the message. he says he goes by ELIESG (He sent me links to his music pages, here is his phone #305-833-2047 and email: infowizdom@gmail.com. He told me he has a business with his two partners and they resell licenses. He tried to sell me bundles of software. He kept insisting to send me an invoice and got me by asking for cash app and not PayPal. which was totally my fault. I knew better. Please learn from my mistake. you see this guy report him. like the post stated above, he has listings on a lot of different sites.
