Win10 Home solution after recent update

Post by downfader » Sun Aug 09, 2020 9:15 am

Found a video that solved an issue with the recent win10 home updates. You can reinstall the "Ultimate performance" options with the command prompt. I was having buggy issues and pops so tried this. There are other performance options discussed in the video, but I take no blame for any changes you make that mess your system up. Make notes so you can reverse things if you encounter problems.

My massive Joplin tune that I struggled to get working on now performs within live 9, let alone having to render to hear the midi changes I made

Maybe create a Restore Point before you start instead? :P
