Sampling Vinyl Records
Hey all, its my first time posting so thanks for all your help! I'll keep it short and sweet. Im using an audio technica lp60xbt turntable and id like to record my records onto ableton live so i can sample them. i have an 1/8 audio jack connecting the computer to the turntable but when i go into live preferences (im using pc by the way) and try to configure the audio input i cant find the turntable. please help!

it has a phono/line switch on the back. switch it to line and it's exactly like recording from an mp3 player.

Thats what i thought! When i switch it to line my only option is like audio cord b (sorry im at work so i cant see exactly what the audio in is) and when i select that thinking its the turntable im not receiving any sound input. When i get home i will post pics if i can
