where is echo?

does the echo audio effect not come with the standard version? I cant find it.

Echo comes only with Suite: Compare Live editions.

Thanks. So can it be bought separately? If not do you know of a plug in that’s similar?

As far as I know (which is not much really), Echo is only available as part of Suite and not available separately. That is, I believe that only instruments can be purchased as add-on packs, not effects.

Because I have Suite and hence Echo, I am afraid I have never really looked for direct alternatives. However, I do use the older M4L versions of what are now the Dub Machines bundle available as VST/AU by Surreal Machines. Inspired by the Roland Space Echo.

I also like the Outer Spaces device from Amazing Noises, but that needs M4L.

Perhaps some others might chime in here with still other ideas…

[Edit: You could also look at EchoBoy by Soundtoys. I have never used it, but I have heard good things about it.]

Dub Machines bundle is a total steal at €49 - great plugins
