Hello!
I recently changed computers, and tried to copy a bunch of samples I made from my user Library in my old computer to new computer (via copy/paste onto external drive).

However, when I link the new computer Ableton to the external hard drive folder and try to import or even listen to these files they all show up as "offline". They are basically all not there.
Curiously, all the files show up as Ableton Live Clips in the folder, and for some reason all are small file size like 6kb (Image 1). Are ALCs just redirecting to the actual audio file somewhere? This is a bummer because I have a lot of sounds I made on my old computer I want to use in new tracks!
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong here? It seems like it can't be that difficult to transfer files between computers

You didn't copy the actual audio files but their analysis files (.asd).
Those .asd are generated and used by Live to store info (like warp markers etc...)
Your audio files are probably spread between your various projects and User Library.
