Hi all.
Can someone tell me how I can route 'Audio Track A' out of Ableton, into an external FX unit (Roland VT-4) , back in to be recorded onto 'Audio Track B'?
I can record through a mic into the VT-4 and in to Live no problem... just trying to figure how I can use the unit to effect pre-recorded tracks.
I'm using PC version with an M-Audio Air 192|14 as my audio device.
Thanks!

Re: External FX routing
You'll need to connect outputs 3/4 on your audio interface to the input of your FX unit. Route the output of the appropriate track in Live to outputs 3/4 of the interface.
Then the output of the FX unit has to be connected to two of the inputs on the audio interface. Set up an audio track to record the input of those channels.
You can also setup an External Audio Effect in Live, which you can save to your browser and will allow you to drag-and-drop this routing setup whenever you need it.
