Best Laptop for live RN

Hi Guys,

I am upgrading from a 2013 MacBook pro. Should I get the current MBP 16 inch, wait for Silicon or get an XPS 15? Does 32 GB matter if I am buying something for 3-5 years to come or 16 Is enough?

I have exactly the same question!

Seriously considering the XPS 15 9500. However a bit worried about the latency issues the XPS series used to have. The new ones seem fine (e.g. Dave Lee Review (7:30 - 8:10), https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_C8oa8 ... u.be&t=450) but I haven't found any in-depth review which gives me full confidence to go with the XPS unfortunately.

E.g., there seem to be problem with the XPS 17 but other comments claim that it's just the XPS 17 and the XPS 15 is fine...(see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AvEaEI ... u.be&t=212 as of 3:32).

Already made up your mind what you're getting?

Like I said in the other thread: I would at least wait to see how the new Apple Silicon machines perform. Not long now...

And on a Mac 16GB is more than enough for most users IMO.
