DJ Live setup ( push + Xone k2's ) drumrack question

Hello all,
I appreciate if someone could help me figure out something ( yes I feel stupid asking this but bare with me )

Trying to achieve ( Richie Hawtin / Dubfire ) kind of setup ( 2 Xone k2's and Ableton push ) Traktor parallel with Ableton

in this video ( minute 4:20 ) Richie uses his push to make a snare roll by clicking on the snare sample
(1) how can I achieve that ?
(2) is he using drumrack or sampler or simpler ?

Same video ( minute 6:40 ) he tweaks tuning & does 1/2 1/8 1/16 beats cuts from push
(3) if its a drumrack it's mapped to transient and filter ?
(4) how to achieve the beat repeat or cut or steps 1/2 1/8 1/16 without push ?

(5) if push is not available is the above applicable with midi mapping to any controller or exclusive options for push
I still have few knobs and buttons empty on my K2's I'd like to reach to be able to do some of that stuff until I can get my hands on push

the way am doing it now is in a drum rack and 3 clips in each have variations of the sounds

if you drop it on a drumpad right in front of a simpler it acts like a note repeat
