Ethnic Drums

Purchased MEMENTO drums from ISW but not to happy.

What is your best source for:
- ethnic drum loops
- ethnic samples (or drum racks)

any particular ethnicity? all drums played by human beings are "ethnic" since we all belong to one or more ethnic groups. if you narrow it down, we might be able to point you in the right direction.

i use live suite's drum kits for north american rock and blues as well as various latin and south american sounds, and maschine's stock percussion for indian and central asian sounds. i also enjoy sampling youtube videos of drummers from various backgrounds and chopping up those samples to create kits.

African. Asian, Middle East. There is no specific style except I'm looking for nature sounding drums and loops. Epic drums, taiko etc, but also tribal drums. Pretty much anything that is not based on typical Wester world percussion set is my interest. I purchased Sample Logic _ Drum Fury and it is great but those are just samples so I would like add some loops to the arsenal....
