Exporting individual tracks
Exporting individual tracks
Hi all
I'm trying to bounce my project to individual audio tracks to move to a brand new project for mix down. All the tracks are warped all over the place and it's taking ages to adjust each one.
Is there a better solution to this as it's incredibly time consuming?

Re: Exporting individual tracks
Not sure what warping and adjusting tracks has to do with exporting individual tracks.... but to export individual tracks, simply export audio and in the first export setting called "Rendered Track" instead of "Master" choose "All Individual Tracks"
Re: Exporting individual tracks
Yeah that’s just the first part ie I can export the tracks fine. The problem I have is reimporting those rendered tracks to a blank project for mixdown. They are all out of time and need warping/stretching to get back in sync

Re: Exporting individual tracks
Are you changing the tempo of the song in the Mixdown project?
If not (if the Export Project tempo is the same as the Mixdown Project tempo)
- then you don't need to WARP or stretch anything after import
- (not necessary) just to be able to see where you are between projects, set the new Mixdown project tempo to be the same as the Export project
- import each file to the same starting position in your arrangement in the Mixdown project
- turn warp off for each file as you import them
- make sure the Play Start "flag" inside each clip is at the very beginning of the clip (so that the files across the tracks line up)
- voila! perfect sync
If yes (then you have to watch what you are doing):
- import each file to the same starting position in your arrangement
- delete all the warping Live proposes
- place only one WARP marker at the very beginning of each clip
- set the Warp BPM in each clip to the same tempo of the project you exported the file from (same bpm as the Export project)
- make sure the Play Start "flag" inside each clip is at the very beginning of the clip
- voila! perfect sync

Re: Exporting individual tracks
In preferences turn off auto warp long samples or files something like that.
