All scales with white keys in ableton

What is the correct setting of the scale and pitch midi effects to be able to play all the scales? Is it simply a matter of putting pitch after scale?

The scale effect has a root or base note parameter on it.

So if you load a preset that is C major, you can change C to E and then you’ll be playing E major.

Fair enough. So white keys at the output being the starting point, do you just drag scale onto the track and set key, scale - and done?

Can this be confirmed by folks having musical education?
