Hey guys, one of the things I'm using Ableton Live 11 for is to help record drum playthrough videos, and basically what I'm doing is looking up a song's bpm, assigning it to the project, dropping the mp3 into an audio track and then programming a midi track to help keep me in time with some of the frenzied extreme metal I'm doing. The problem is that the bpm always seems to be nowhere near what the audio track is, I end up trying to drag and warp areas of a song to try and match things up, and it all ends up becoming a weird totally warped mess and I'm getting extremely frustrated. Mind you I'm new, the more you can dumb down what I'm doing wrong or your suggestions the better.
