Tritave using Microtuner

Post by Pau Rosello » Tue Apr 12, 2022 5:32 am

Hi,

The new Microtuner is nice, but it's still constraining the producer to use scales using an octave. If I want to use other scales like the Bohlen-Pierce scale, it's dividing the ratios over 2 to keep them inside the interval of an octave.

Is it possible to work with other kinds of octaves?

Thanks

That's surprising. Maybe I didn't understand clearly your problem, or maybe you didn't set the settings correctly.
Did you try loading a .scala file of this scale you're mentioning?

Hi,

It was my bad (mor or less). It actualy works, but the clock representation just works for octaves, when using other repetition intervals it looks wrong.

Thanks!
