Hello to the community !
I think I have seen something like this in a device, where it was possible to take a waveform that was generated in the device, that got displayed in a small window, and just drag and drop it out of there.
Im talking about a „synthesized Kick“ or „a glitch-effected 5sec sample“ that gets directly baked in the device and is then ready to use as a sample in arrangement or session view. Not literally a plain synth waveform.
How would you accomplish that ?
What kind of devices do you know that use that type of functionality, that could be taken and looked at for further understanding of the implementation of such techniques ?
Best wishes and happy times to you all !

There's device that can export via a usual dialog box, but with drag'n'drop you've probably seen it the other way around: dragging a file onto the device.
Don't take it for granted, but I don't think M4L allows drag'n'drop from the device to the outside world.

Yes, 11dragfiles external. But you can't avoid saving the sample somewhere beforehand.
